Today I want to talk about what separates Christian network marketers from the rest of the community.  This question was posted in our Facebook group, and I wanted to share with you my thoughts on this question.

So here are the 5 things that I think separate Christian network marketers from the network marketing industry:

  1. Prayer and Praise – 1 Thess 5:16-18 (ESV)  Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
We are grateful, give thanks, and pray without ceasing – customers, team, health of our business, clarity, wisdom, divine appointments, be an answer to other prayers.
  2. Wisdom
I am a huge Proverbs fan, especially when it comes to business.  If we just did the things in Proverbs and approached our business in that way, how much more effective would we be in our business?  As Christians, we have God, who is the source of all wisdom, and we should be tapping into that.
  3. Love – 1 Corinthians 13:1-3  If I speak in tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or clanging cymbal.  And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.  If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.
Love is what separates us from the rest of the industry.
  4. Excellence – Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
What kind of carpenter do you think Jesus was?  Was He a haphazard? Or was He excellent?  So many professionals in the Bible do excellent work.
  5. Faith – Hebrews 11:1  Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
When I left my well-paying corporate job to start my coaching business, a friend said, “Wow, that’s a lot of faith.”  It is our faith in what we know God is calling us to do that separates us from the rest of the industry.
